Why a fake ID gets past a basic scanner

Most ID scanners simply decode the barcode and read back the date of birth. If a forger encodes a fake birth date, or clones a real barcode onto a doctored card, a basic scanner reports a confident, wrong “pass.” IntegrityEngine is built to catch exactly those tricks.
